The Uses of Oracy Conference

In January 2022, the Speaking Citizens project hosted a conference that brought together an unprecedented range of key figures from education, activism, policy, academia and civil society who had something interesting to say about speaking and listening.

The event featured plenary sessions with former Secretary of State for Education, Lord David Blunkett; Professor Deborah Cameron of the University of Oxford; and Cyril Delhay of Sciences-Po, Paris. It was during the pandemic, so it was online. That means that you can watch all of the sessions again in video form here.
